Where Are We?
Most of our activities centre around our two main locations, Rosskeen Free Church at Achnagarron and the Capstone Centre in Alness.
Rosskeen Free Church
This is a traditional stone-built church situated at the side of the A9, the main arterial road north. It sits directly between Alness and Invergordon, on the right hand side as you go north. Turn off the A9 and you'll find our carpark on the other side of the church. There has been a Free Church here since 1843 and the current building was opened in 1900.
This is a modern, multi-function complex converted from a number of buildings which were sitting empty. It is located at the top of Alness High Street, near the war memorial, where it joins Obsdale road. The area where our Sunday services take place is part of what used to be the Co-op supermarket and is accessed by a side door. There is a small car park at that side of the complex (Accessed from Averon Road) and a larger council one a short distance along Obsdale Road. The Cafe is also housed in this part of the complex and our church offices are upstairs in the next block, formerly a council service point and before that the Clydesdale Bank. The old Rigger bar makes up the rest of the complex.
