Who Are We?

Our Congregation

Rosskeen Free Church is a family, adopted by God through Jesus Christ. We are committed to worshipping him, sharing his good news, serving him by serving each other and our community and sending equipped and prepared workers into the community and beyond.

We are a diverse family, drawing from a wide range of social backgrounds.  Some of us can trace our roots in the congregation for generations, some are from other church traditions and some have no prior church background at all.  Some of us come as extended families, some as individuals and others as something else.  Young, old and in between sit and worship together.  Everyone is warmly welcomed.

Our Leadership

Our Minister and Pastor is Rev Calum "Honda" MacMillan, who is assisted in leading and pastoring the church by the Elders (collectively known as the Kirk Session).

Our congregation is governed by office bearers who are elected to that position by church members.  Derek McPhail is the Session Clerk.

Deacons are also elected by church members and have responsibility for ensuring the best use of the material assets of the congregation to further the cause of Christ. Mark Stirling is the Clerk to the Deacons' Court.
